Parent Training Classes
Our Parent training empowers parents to support and encourage their child’s development of meaningful functional, language and social skills outside of the training setting which predicts greater long-term behavior change. Check our calendars page for upcoming class dates.
- Our parent-training program complements direct intervention and treatment programs but can also be provided without direct services
- Our trainings equip parents with important information about ABA intervention, ASD, typical/atypical child development and basic intervention strategies.
- We use a variety of instructional formats that encourage active participation and learning; including discussion, in-class exercises, role-playing and home assignments. Parents are encouraged to ask questions and share experiences during the workshops.
We are available to provide consultation and training to school personnel for all age ranges from pre-school through high school.
